Quick draft and shitty layout. I'll fix it up later.
Extremely laid back, yet sarcastic, it's rare when he is ever seen without a calm, lazy smile on his face. Really the only other emotion he expresses is when he's in deep thought, a heavy frown is gracing his lips for he's the thinking type. Rarely will he ever expression another emotion unless the situation proves dire. However after the time-skip (current), he hardly ever smiles, now with a more cautious, observing attitude. Law can even be reckless at times, showing no hesitation in his manner to taunt an enemy--including giving the middle finger to his higher-ups and greater threats. Despite this, he does have a sense of respect and honor to his potential rivals, rather than enemies.
The captain has a distaste for taking orders and being told what to do. He is, however, not above forging brief alliances with rival crews when in a pinch for the means of survival at a mutual level of authority in order to achieve a common goal. Rival or not--equal authority or not--he refuses to take false credit and ensures it's where it's due. Naturally in this realm, any pirate captain would and very well should be competitive against opposing crews, for nearly every pirate is in search to achieve the One Piece, deeming the holder PIrate King, though he himself is not as eager as the others to obtain it. His competitiveness mainly stems from rivalries and in demonstration of skills and abilities.
"He's an insane man who sent the hearts of 100 pirates to Headquarters
in order to become a Shichibukai!
He's a creep!!"
- G-5 Marine

And even though he comes off as a sadistic ass, he does have his morals in the right place for the most part--an example being, he's appalled at the thought of children being subjected to drugs in general. This runs in complete contrast to his reputation, for he's infamous for his cruelty and heartless acts. His name triggered massive worldspread fear upon word of him sending in the hundred hearts to the Government to earn the Shichibukai status. He won't hesitate to strike a fallen enemy, either. Even when vulnerable to a secondary strike for the potential killing blow after bisecting the body. He even suggested leaving the drugged children behind when fleeing the island for he thought they would be too much of a burden.
Despite Law's terse and unkind demeanor towards others, he has shown some measure of compassion--example, finding the cure to those bothersome children even though he initially wanted nothing to do with them.
Compassionate or not, the pirate is very blunt when responding to just about anybody and not having any problem in keeping those fine lines obvious, even in alliances. As the doctor for the Heart Pirates, his diagnoses are usually very straight forward in how severe the injuries may be. Even in battle, he has the nerve of telling them where they went wrong and why they're about to die. Belittling during them is another habit of his--telling them they're too weak, even to choose their death.
Branded a member of the D's Will, his overall demeanor is stern and even distant. Unlike other members of the D, he doesn't exhibit a massive appetite but does carry the very same strong belief in fate.
Law has an odd hatred for bread and umeboshi, but enjoys onigiri and grilled fish.
